Video: Battlefield 3 with 8 Bit soundtrack.
I’ve been really enjoying the Battlefield 3 lately and just reached level 45, but now I realise the soundtrack could have been so much better!

Play-Asia.com is having a classic gaming sale here at their online store.
There’s lots of classic titles for Super Famicom, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, GameBoy Advance/Color, NES, and Virtual Boy. Sure you might not have a console, and they might be in Japanese, but they’re still pretty awesome.
The most viewed item there at the moment is this Star Fox 64 Box Set with Rumble Pack.

From the artist:
My version of one of the first video game villains, taking the 1978 Space Invaders pixel art and “filling in the blanks”. Fun fact: I modelled him partly with my feet. I broke my left wrist halfway through making him, so instead of pressing CTRL, SHIFT and ALT on the keyboard to navigate in ZBrush, I used foot pedals instead.

SupaBoy looks super.
I discovered this awesome looking gadget today that makes me sad my birthday is still six months away. The SupaBoy lets you play Super Nintendo and Super Famicom games on a handheld unit that looks like an original Super Nintendo controller - and it takes the original game cartridges.
The unit has a 3.5 inch screen, and can also be plugged into a TV for big screen action. Two full sized SNES controllers can be plugged into the front ports for multi player action.
MAME arcade emulator now available for Google Chrome.
The Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator (MAME) has been ported to the Chrome Web Store. For now only the game Robby Roto is available, with more to follow soon.
MAME software is an open source software project, able to run ROM files of old arcade machine games. It’s a popular choice for home built arcade machines, including my own one pictured above - check that out here.
