‘Invisible Glass’ could eliminate reflections on computer screens.
Nippon Electric Glass Co Ltd has developed a film which, once applied to glass, almost entirely reduces glare. Provided the glass is clean, it becomes almost invisible.
Normal glass reflects 92% 8% of light back to the viewer, whereas glass treated with the film only reflects 0.5%. The company hasn’t announced when the product might start to be used on commercial devices such as TV’s and computers.
